Flush Commercial Hollow Metal Doors

 

The flush hollow metal door, or steel slab door, is the most common commercial steel door and can be used for virtually any application, including industrial and commercial buildings. Flush doors have no cut-outs for anything other than locksets and hinges but can be prepped for other hardware, glass kits, and louvers.

Double Doors – Hollow Metal Pairs

 

The active door of the pair is typically prepped for a locking device, such as a lockset or exit device. The inactive door (or fixed door) is prepped for flush bolts (top and bottom) and includes an astragal, which covers or closes the gap between the edges of the doors. Exit devices or push/pull hardware is required to make both doors active.

Fire-Rated Metal Door

 

Fire-Rated steel doors play a vital role in keeping people safe and minimizing property damage during a fire. Labeled fire doors control the spread of fire and smoke for up to 3 hours. Metal fire doors are an economical alternative to wood fire doors when more than a 20-minute rating is required. Steel is the sole door material to deliver a 3-hour fire-rating.
